Students volunteering to help the Moores UCSD Cancer Center Outreach program can gain valuable experience for their future. Depending upon computer skills, linguistic abilities, and cultural considerations outreach volunteers can be involved in a variety activities like:

• Assist in literature searches
• Synthesizing the literature found
• Preparing scientific manuscripts
• Data entry and cleanup
• Data analysis
• Assist in one of the Community Based Education Programs
