Know Your Options. Treatment What are my treatment options for testicular cancer? Number 4: Treatment for prostate cancer. Your treatment depends on your particular cancer tumor. When cancer is found in a testicle, the testicle is always removed. When the cancer is just in the testicles, radiation sometimes follows the surgery. If your cancer has already spread, chemotherapy may also be necessary. Most men are still able to have erections and stay sexually active after treatment. In addition, since you still have another testicle with sperm, it is still possible for you to have children. Talk to your doctor before your surgery if you want to have children. |
