Dr. Baird's areas of interest are hematopathology and immunopathology. His research interests are in human lymphomas mouse leukemia viruses and the use of mice with severe combined immune deficiency as recipients of human lymphoid cell grafts. This model can be used to study HIV infection EBV infection and lymphomagenesis.
