Dr. Mundt is the Chairman of the Radiation Oncology Department, University of California, Moores Cancer Center. Dr. Mundt specializes in tumors of the female reproductive system, central nervous system and soft tissues. He is also interested in the role of radiation therapy in conjunction with high dose chemotherapy in patients with Hodgkin's disease, Lymphoma and breast cancer.
Dr. Mundt’s focus is on the development and evaluation of novel radiation technologies, and implementing clinical trials that utilize existing technologies (IMRT, IGRT, DART). His long-term strategic plan includes the delivery of patient services to satellite facilities and the development of fellowship programs within the academic environment.
