| The GI group provides education and support to patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancers, including pancreas, liver, cholangiocarcinoma, gastric, esophageal, colon, rectal or anal cancer. Each month we provide an educational presentation and then the group has an opportunity to discuss issues related to the topic presented or other issues they may be experiencing.

| For breast cancer patients between the age 18-45. Participate in a research intervention study for young breast cancer patients. If you consent to participate, you will receive a pre-treatment assessment and goal of care plan; an 8-week educational and psychotherapeutic group; a post-treatment assessment and review of care plan; and treatment follow-up. Please contact a study coordinator if you are interested in participating. |

| Teaches cancer patients about precautions for post-operative lymphedema. We will teach you about lymphedema signs and symptoms, exercises, manual drainage and resources. Lymphedema can affect quality of life, mobility, skin tissue integrity and health. Even though there are no proven preventative guidelines, it helps to learn precautions. Knowledge and awareness can assist patients in dealing with this and knowing how to help themselves. |

This hands-on workshop is designed to help female cancer patients learn how to enhance their appearance through the use of wigs, makeup and accessories. All participants receive a complimentary kit of cosmetics. The program is a free, non-medical, product neutral program offered in partnership with the ACS, the National Cosmetology Association, and the Personal Care Products Council Foundation.
Reservations are requested, as space is limited to 12 patients per session. |

Healing Foods Kitchen Cooking Classes

Each month, learn about a different topic in nutrition and wellness. Learn how to prepare easy and healthy recipes using foods that promote health and help fight disease. Classes include a demonstration, discussion about ingredients, recipes, tasting and educational handouts.
