CMS/County Medical Service
A San Diego County funded medical insurance program for adult residents who meet the financial and age criteria between 21-64 years old.

SDGE Medical Baseline Allowance
To help people with special health needs, SDG&E offers medical baseline allowances that provide additional regulated utility charges at the baseline rate, which can help keep energy costs down. (More ...)

STATE OF CALIFORNIA

CCAN
A no cost, statewide program for residents of California who are uninsured or underinsured with an existing insurance policy that has a deductible/co-pay/premium of more than $750. (More...)

Medi-cal
A state-funded medical insurance program for legal residents of California under 21 years of age and over 65 years of age. Legal residents who have minor dependents living in the home may also apply.

Medi-cal for Breast & Cervical Cancer Treatment
The Dept. of Health & Human Services authorizes immediate Medi-cal benefits to patients with active cases of breast and cervical cancer who meet the financial and residential criteria. MRMIP
California Major Risk Medical Insurance, a 36-month health plan for Californians who are unable to obtain market insurance or Medicare coverage.

FEDERAL

Medicare
A health insurance program for people age 65 and older. Some people under age 65 with disabilities may also qualify. Medicare has two parts. Part A covers hospital stays, skilled nursing facility, home health care, hospice care, and blood. Part B covers doctor's services and outpatient care.

inancial grants for expenses for other than basic living expenses. Covered expenses would include home care, child care, transportation, pain medication, chemotherapy and radiation.

     Limited financial assistance for or transportation, home care, and child care services for women with      breast, cervical and ovarian cancers.
   - Rubin Special Assistance Program
     Limited financial assistance for residents of San Diego and Imperial Counties.

     Limited financial assistance for people with colon cancer for homecare, childcare, transportation, pain      medication and colostomy supplies.
