Medi-cal
A state-funded medical insurance program for legal residents of California
under 21 years of age and over 65 years of age. Legal residents who
have minor dependents living in the home may also apply.
Medi-cal for
Breast & Cervical Cancer Treatment
The Dept.
of Health & Human Services authorizes immediate Medi-cal benefits to
patients with active cases of breast and cervical cancer who meet the
financial and residential criteria.

California Major Risk Medical Insurance, a 36-month health plan for
Californians who are unable to obtain market insurance or Medicare coverage.

FEDERAL
Medicare
A health insurance program for people age 65 and older. Some people
under age 65 with disabilities may also qualify. Medicare has two parts.
Part A covers hospital stays, skilled nursing facility, home health
care, hospice care, and blood. Part B covers doctor's services and outpatient
care.
