- The Ambassadors for Cancer Research
Today's Leaders Facilitating Tomorrow's Discoveries
Dear Online Viewer,
Are you interested in
helping to improve the quality and impact of cancer research?
This program, The
Ambassadors for Cancer Research: Today's Leaders Facilitating Tomorrow's
Discoveries, is recruiting people who would be willing to periodically
receive information regarding cancer research studies, as well as educational
programs related to cancer, and cancer research advances. The primary goal
of this program is to educate the Southern California community about the
role research plays in advancing health care knowledge. A second goal of
this program is to spread information to the members of the community about
opportunities for involvement in specific research studies. This is an
invitation to become involved in the study that will evaluate the usefulness
of the Ambassadors Program.
All the studies you
learn about will be approved by the Human Research Protection Program. This
review by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) is your assurance that every
study you receive will adhere to the highest level of scientific rigor and
ethical conduct.
If you would like to
be involved in this program please complete the subscription
form. If you have any questions, you may simply e-mail Dr. Sadler
at: cancerambasssadors@ucsd.edu.
By giving UCSD your information, you agree to participate in the program
by receiving periodic e-mails about clinical trials or other related educational
cancer programs. Any names or information obtained through the Ambassadors
for Cancer Research Program will not be given or sold to any other organizations.
If, at any time, you wish to be removed from the e-mail list, you may do
so by contacting us via e-mail. We hope that you can see how your participation
in this program can help you reach out to members of our community and promote
advances in our understanding of cancer.
Please enter in your
email address to participate. You may also simply print the Ambassador
Questionnaire (pdf) and return it via mail.
