A diagnosis of lung cancer can be frightening. At UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center, we’re here to provide you with the best possible care. While there may not be a cure for all types of lung cancer, there are treatments to improve well-being or prolong life.
Our care team team includes medical oncologists who specialize solely in lung cancer; physician researchers who have pioneered innovative treatment for early and advanced-stage lung cancer; and pulmonologists from UC San Diego's Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine program, which repeatedly ranks among the top 10 programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. We work with radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurse managers, and others who bring their unique perspective to tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs.
